The repeat of Sonar Experiment No. 2 was a success! I managed to collect ultrasonic range data on a grass field as well. Having the heading data proved useful for analyzing the range data since I could clearly identify which part of the run Brake 'Bot was in at the time.
This experiment (and the data) convinced me that ultrasonic sensors are worth looking into for collision avoidance. It's just a matter of how I'll effectively use the sensor data to Brake 'Bot's advantage.
