Summary
Rocksteady is the second of two robots I entered to compete in the 2013 SparkFun Autonomous Vehicle Competition (AVC). Unlike Bebop which uses a consumer-ready kit, Rocksteady was meant to be more of a built-from-the-ground-up kind of robot. Bebop was the easy way of getting started with autonomous ground vehicles, and Rocksteady was definitely the hard way.
I'm still writing up the steps we took to get Rocksteady ready for competition. Please check back again!
